We’re all extremely excited for Sahel season. Hanging out by the beach during the day and spending the evenings out and about, those of us who take the annual pilgrimage to the North Coast all have some wonderful memories there. As time passes, we’ve witnessed nightlife in Sahel getting more and more dynamic, with an increasing number of beach clubs and bars getting us even more hyped to spend a night out. So, we’ve curated a list of our favourite beach clubs on the North Coast that have proven to be worth the hype.

Sol, Marassi

We all love Marassi for its incredible beach and fun places to spend the day. But we’ll give you yet another reason to love Marassi: the amazing nightlife. Sol Beach in Marassi is easily one of the best beach clubs out there, and they have the old lineups to prove it. Some of our favourite DJs have performed there, including Monolink, Adam Port, and Birds of Mind.

Sea Code, El Alamein

Mathame, Monolink, Peggy Gou, Adriatique, Fideles… These are but a few of the names who have performed at Sea Code Club El Alamein, and each was absolutely out of this world. But the greatest and most memorable performance would easily have to be Jennifer Lopez, who took the stage in the summer of 2019. All this goes to say that there is a reason why the biggest names that come to the North Coast choose to perform at Sea Code. It’s an absolutely fantastic venue and is tons of fun, even on an “average” night.

Baboon, La Vista Ras El Hekma

Ras El Hekma is known to be one of the most amazing beaches in all of Egypt, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Baboon Beach Bar, which directly overlooks the sea, would be an equally fantastic place to spend your evening. Between the stunning view, the delectable food, and the awesome music, if you’re by the western side of Sahel (or any side of Sahel, really), you’ll definitely want to spend your evenings there.

AHM, Playa

Founded by Factory People, a Lebanon-based entertainment, arts and culture group, in collaboration with Venture Lifestyle, which is in charge of seemingly anything nightlife related in Egypt, AHM is the home of live music lovers regardless of their unique taste. Having hosted world-renowned DJs, including Solomun, Blondish, and Shkoon, as well as local stars like Marwan Moussa, Tamer Hosny, Ahmed Saad, and Disco Misr, AHM is truly a place that absolutely anyone can enjoy. Find it by one of Egypt’s most incredible beaches in Ghazala Bay.

Pier 88, Almaza Bay

Pier 88 is the place to go if you want outstanding ambience, top-tier cuisine, and the most amazing turquoise beach just a few metres away. We first fell in love with Pier 88 thanks to their excellent Gouna branch, and we most certainly were not disappointed when they finally opened their doors in Almaza. Definitely among the best places to enjoy Mediterranean & Italian cuisine. Whether you’re there during the day or the evening (or both), your time there is sure to be a whole new experience.

Sass, Hacienda Bay

Initially known for its Nile branch, which has hosted incredible performers, including stand-up comedians The Elite and DJ Rodge, Sass‘ Sahel branch is just as impressive and exciting. Having hosted some of our favourite musicians, including Disco Misr, Sass is a fantastic place to spend the day or night out with friends.
