It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the season closing events of Sahel and the end to the fun in the sun for this year. Before it is officially over we would like you to be able to catch a few more warm nights of summer and create more memorable moments. Whether you are ending this summer in Sahel or in Cairo, we have done what we do best, and we gathered a list of events happening this weekend that you don’t want to miss. 

Thursday 

Dixon at Ahm Club (Sahel)

If you are looking for one last big party to go to for this summer, then here’s where you need to be this Thursday. The event has not one, but two stages with nine artists who will keep you partying till daylight. This is the biggest lineup of this Sahel season, and you surely do not want to miss it.

Strawberry Swing at Room Art Space Garden City 

Let’s sing a Hymn for the Weekend with Coldplay’s tribute band Strawberry Swing. They’re finally here to perform once more for all the dedicated fans. This Thursday Strawberry Swing will be performing at Room Garden City. Don’t miss a chance to listen to your favorite Coldplay song being played live on stage.

Pink Seasalt, Alan-K & Hashem at Cairo Jazz Club 

An insane fusion of indie rock & neo-psychedelic with a melancholic touch of RnB awaits you at CJC with Pink Seasalt. A lot of dreamy pop music will also be provided by Alan-K. Hashem will be there to end the night with a DJ set of upbeat music.

Rapunzel at The Marquee 

After the success of Gamila W El Wahsh, Marwa Abdel Moneim will be starring in another Egyptian adaptation of Rapunzel. Bring your kids to a performance they won’t forget with dazzling visuals and an overall fun aesthetic.

Saad El Oud & Ahmed El Haggar at Cairo Jazz Club 

Bless your ears with some good music this Saturday with Oud melodies and breathtaking vocals from Saad El Oud and Ahmed El Haggar. Saad El Oud will use his admirable talent and mesmerizing vocals to start off the night. While Ahmed El Haggar will perform a collection of music inspired by classical Egyptian songs with a twist of Jazz and Neo-Soul.
