It makes for a wonderful time out, especially during the day. Pair their scrumptious food with the spectacular view of the course during sunset, and you’ll end up wanting to go every weekend.

 

Oldish, Downtown

If you’re looking for a charming place to have lunch in Downtown Cairo, Oldish is what you’re looking for. If you live near Downtown, then you’ve definitely heard of Oldish and know that it’s a staple in the area. Not only is the setting beautiful, but being located near Tahrir Square means that you’re surrounded by some of Cairo’s most beautiful buildings, ready to admire during lunch at Oldish.

 

Tree Trunk, Heliopolis

Tree Trunk is one of the most charming places in Korba. Located in the beautiful Baghdad St., the view from their terrace is unmatched. The setting is also nothing short of adorable and is great for grabbing a bite with your close friends. At this point, it wouldn’t matter if the food is good or not, as it’s more about the experience than the food, but we’ll have you know that their menu is, in fact, very versatile and delicious!

 

El Barrio, Heliopolis

Located in a stunning Beirut St. villa, this Cuban restaurant/bar is perfect for an evening out with your friends. With a beautiful setting and the view of the historic street to match, the quality of just about everything at El Barrio is top-tier. The experience there is complete with incredible live music, which makes the ambience go from amazing to spectacular.

 

Tawlet Yvonne, Maadi

Who doesn’t love Maadi? One of the most diverse places in Cairo, you can easily find just about any kind of cuisine your stomach craves there, which is one of the many reasons why we love the neighbourhood. An added bonus: it’s beautiful. If you are looking to have a meal in Maadi, consider Tawlet Yvonne, an amazing restaurant that makes the most delicious and authentic Lebanese food you can possibly imagine. The food is out of this world, the setting and view are mesmerising, and, best of all, they often host live musical performances!

 

Andrea, New Giza

While we definitely miss Andrea’s original branch in Maryouteya, it would be unfair not to give their recently opened New Giza branch the credit it’s due. It is absolutely gorgeous, as expected. The location is no less beautiful than the original, boasting a magnificent view of the desert and the food–well–you already know. It’s the best.
