A few things in life can match the joy you get from a piece of tender meat melting in your mouth. Mastering the art of cooking steak is no easy task, but that’s exactly the expertise that Chef Guilherme Reis at the First Nile Boat has. Chef Reis aims to provide guests with the ultimate Brazilian Churrascaria experience in the heart of Cairo at the First Nile Boat, located steps away from Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence.
A Churrascaria is described as a Brazilian steakhouse, but it’s not that simple. In a Churrascaria, guests pay a fixed price for rodízio style churrasco (Brazilian barbecue) service, served with salads, appetisers, main courses, and desserts. The main difference between a rodízio style and a regular barbecue is that in rodízio, machete-wielding servers roam around the room with giant skewers of meat waiting for you to signal them so they’d come and cut the meat directly onto your plate.
The Churrascaria experience is not common in Egypt. In fact, it is only available at Xodó restaurant, located at the First Nile Boat. Their newly launched menu includes 12 exquisite grilled cuts, ranging from traditional Beef Ancho (US Angus Ribeye), US striploin, Australian lamb chops and beef tenderloin, all the way to Brazilian delicacies like Coração de Frango (marinated chicken hearts), along with a colourful variety of salads, appetisers, side dishes, and desserts.
The restaurant is open from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekends. The price per person is 1025++ LE for the full course meal. Find out more about the delicious options on the menu here.
