Still wondering where to enjoy a wholesome Christmas dinner in Cairo? Fret not, for we’ve gathered a round of Christmas dinners that are taking place across the city. Without further ado, here’s what the city is offering this festive season.

Christmas Eve (24th of December)                                                              

This Christmas Eve brings joy to all culinary tastes. If you are looking for a celebration with an Asian twist, Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza’s, Eight, serves a 6-course meal (1600LE++), while Cairo Conrad’s Kamala, and Thai chef, Atita, celebrate the holidays with an authentic Asian three-course meal. Elsewhere, Birdcage at Semiramis InterContinental Cairo delivers a special à la carte menu that includes a host of Asian delights, while Sushiramis is ready for the season, with Chef Castro serving some of his best signature dishes.

Lebanese food lovers are in for a treat. Conrad Cairo’s OAK Grill offers a three-course dinner that comes with a modern Lebanese twist, while Semiramis InterContinental Cairo’s Sabaya delivers a special à la carte menu, full of authentic Lebanese delicacies. The night also sees a host of Oriental Christmas Eve Dinners taking place around the city, including Sheraton Cairo Hotel, Where El Mawardia hosts a special Egyptian night that comes with a variety of traditional treats, and live entertainment.

Celebrating the Italian way? Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza’s, Bella, delivers a five-course dinner (1150LE++) that boasts various authentic Italian classics, Pane Vino’s Christmas Eve dinner offers a unique night, where jazz singer Ahmed Harfoush takes to the stage, while Italian restaurant Lucca at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, serves a special set menu that you can savour over some jazzy music. Elsewhere, Sheraton Cairo Hotel’s Giannini’s Christmas Eve Dinner (600LE++) delivers a round of New York-style Italian delights, mulled wine, and live music. Downtown’s Italian restaurant, Eish & Malh offers a delightful array of Christmas classics that come in the form of a set menu, in addition to items from the à la carte menu. If you happen to be in Alexandria, Stefano’s at Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria delivers a four-course dinner (650LE++).

But it’s an open buffet at Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza’s Zitouni (750LE++), gathering a host of traditional Christmas delights, including a scrumptious turkey. And at Conrad Cairo’s Solana, which delivers a delicious selection of sweet and savoury delights, with a buffet that caters to all tastes.

If you’re going international; Grand Nile Tower’s Revolving Restaurant, with its magnificent panoramic views, welcomes you to enjoy a special menu that has something for everyone, while Upper Deck’s Chef Gianluca Visaniand presents a delicious four-course meal (850LE++) that comes with entertainment from a DJ. Four Seasons Cairo Hotel’s The Bar celebrates the night with a selection of canapés (950LE++), and a live performance by a pianist. Elsewhere, Romanov at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski is offering a unique surf and turf set menu on Christmas Eve, on a night that comes with live entertainment

Christmas Day (25th of December)

Lunch buffets take over the city on the 25th. Conrad Cairo’s Solana serves a lunch buffet that brings a wide range of delicacies, while Grand Nile Tower’s Sakya Souk Terrace has an array of international savoury and sweet delights at its Christmas Brunch, which also includes various activities for the young ones, as well as live entertainment. The Nile Ritz – Carlton’s Culina delivers a brunch that offers grills, sushi, seafood, and desserts, with entertainment for everyone. Semiramis InterContinental Cairo’s Night & Day serves another classic Christmas brunch. New Cairo’s Westin Cairo Golf Resort and Spa hosts a Christmas brunch at Paloma, where a round of festivities are taking place, including a meet and greet with Santa. 

Asian cuisine has a share in this year’s festivities. Conrad Cairo’s Kamala serves a delicious Christmas dinner that comes in the form of a three-course meal, while Birdcage at Semiramis InterContinental Cairo boasts an exquisite menu. Sushi restaurant Kazuko celebrates the day with a special menu that you can savour as you listen to the DJ’s beats, while Sachi’s night brings a set menu and a performance by String & Kicks.  

Italian restaurant, Lucca, at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, brings a set menu that you can savour over some jazzy music, Eish & Malh hosts a Christmas brunch as well as a Christmas dinner, while Vivo celebrates Christmas the Italian way, with a selection of Italian classics, live music, and a special visit from Santa. Lexie’s Christmas Dinner sees a DJ taking to the stage, while Andiamo Lake House welcomes you to enjoy a selection of delights, on a night that also see Mahmoud El Esseily performing.

Lebanese Sabaya at Semiramis InterContinental Cairo brings a special à la carte menu that gathers various authentic delights, while Conrad Cairo’s OAK Grill hosts a Levantine three-course Christmas Dinner. Oriental-nights lovers can head to Bab El-Sharq, at The Nile Ritz Carlton, which brings a set menu of traditional classics that come with entertainment, including a live band and a belly dance performance.

Elsewhere, Latin-inspired international restaurant Esca delivers a night that also sees Moroccan songstress Sara Moullabelad taking to the stage, while Shinkō’s night, which sees a DJ taking to the decks, delivers an array of starters, drinks, and more.
