A multiple Cairo 360 Editors’ Choice Award winner for World-Class Hospitality and a perennial favourite when it comes to adding a touch of class to an occasion, the Four Seasons Nile Plaza certainly knows how mark Ramadan in style.

This year, the Garden City Nile-side hotel’s restaurants have gone all out for the Holy Month, with several festive offers available for both fetar and sohour that make the best of the hotel’s trademark fusion of traditional cuisine with culinary innovation…

The NEW Zitouni

While Cairo’s dining scene is at its most eclectic right now, few, if any, cuisines lend themselves to the lavish, hearty feasts our bodies demand after a long, hot day of fasting than Egyptian doe – something that the newly renovated Zitouni is offering by the bucket load with a lavish fetar buffet at 395LE++ per person.

Having re-opened right in time for Ramadan, diners can expect to feast on some classic Egyptian delicacies to the background of a new interior design that draws on local culture while adding that trademark Four Seasons luxury spin and the hotel’s picturesque Nile views.

The Buffet & the Beautiful

Speaking of hearty and wholesome, these are two words that are just as applicable to the foods of Italy – the Italians are possibly the only ones that top Egypt when it comes to their love of pasta, rice and bread. Four Seasons Nile Plaza’s Bella has long been considered one of the best and most authentic Italian eateries in the city and the restaurant’s fetar buffet (395LE++ per person) proves exactly that.

Poolside Dining

While poolside activities of any nature involve a lot of hustle and bustle, the hotel’s Pool Grill transforms into an incredibly understated and elegant space in the evenings – a  perfect backdrop for a fancy Ramadan experience, with set-menus for both fetar (330LE++ per person) and sohour (300LE per person) on offer, alongside live Oriental music.

Upper Deck

If you needed any more convincing of Four Seasons Nile Plaza’s Ramadan chops, so to speak, then look no further than our recent review of Upper Deck, where one of our most discerning foodie writers was wowed by the restaurant and lounge’s special set-menu fetar (330LE++ per person; the seafood tajine and Om Ali were particular hits – it’s all he spoke about for days.

Excellent food aside, Upper Deck is one of the most unique venues in Cairo and makes for a perfect sohour experience to, which also offers a special set-menu (300LE++). We’ve talked about Four Seasons Nile Plaza’s stunning Nile views already, but Upper Deck gives you the best of it, alongside a unique and cosy atmosphere that you’re likely to cocoon yourself in till the wee hours of the morning.
