Five Awesome New Additions to the Mince Menu

While the burger fad has calmed down considerably since it took over Cairo way back when, one name still stands tall. We speak, of course, of Mince, who is without a doubt the number one burger joint in Cairo, while so many have fallen to the wayside.

But as with all the best things in life, Mince doesn’t stop moving, changing and evolving – be it in the form of new branches or new food items. The latest news from the restaurant, who are part of Mori Co.’s increasingly impressive repertoire of eateries, is that it’s about to undergo its biggest change yet.

There is, of course, a new menu, but we’ll get to that later. Mince is actually undergoing a bit of a makeover, too, with a new and approach that leans more towards the gourmet side of things and it’s this new approach that has gone on to shape the radical new menu – there’s a new logo, too.

So, without further ado, here’s what’s in store.

New Appetisers – and Lots of Them

Burgers are and will always be the main event, so to speak, at Mince, but their appetisers have always been just as good – and they’re about to get even better, with items like fried and grilled shrimp, chicken poppers and loaded nachos amongst others.

Baked Potatoes!

It might seem a little out of left-field, but nothing quite hits the spot like a warm, slightly mushy baked potato. Mince’s take on the simple but delicious dish will give you classic topping options like sour cream and chilli con carne, as well as cheese sauce, bacon bits and more.

A New Sliders Menu

This is the one we’re excited about most, with many of Mince’s signature burgers set to be offered as cute little sliders – but based on the restaurant’s portions, they’re likely to be quite big, too. In addition, there will be completely new sliders that are…

Sandwiches that aren’t burgers – gasp!

Yes, Cairo’s premier burger restaurant is branching out into more traditional sandwiches and a couple of them could well outshine the burgers – how does pulled BBQ beef sound? Or a Tandoori chicken sandwich? Seafood fan, are you? Well you’ll be eager to try a gourmet take on the simple crab salad sandwich.

New Desserts

After the rousing success of the culinary magic that is the Elvis French Toast, we already know that the Mince kitchen knows its way around a dessert. So good are they, in fact, that this already packed new menu will also feature three new desserts: ice cream sundae (yum), sweet potato with caramel ice cream (double yum) and the pièce de résistance, a salted caramel brownie skillet (kill us now).

Seems like a lot, right? Well, actually, there’s even more, with new salads, sauces and other bits and pieces set to feature. So, yeah, Mince ain’t mincing around. Check out Mince on Facebook and Instagram for more.
