How many times have you been out to dinner with the family and find that the restaurant’s so-called ‘kids’ menu’ is nothing more burger with fries, chicken nuggets and a single type of pasta. Look at most menus and you’ll see that children are rarely catered to when it comes to dining out.

But that’s all about to change and the face of this culinary revolution comes in the form of a cheeky little chappy called Morino – but let’s rewind for a second and explain.

As one of the first restaurants to spread the cult of sushi in Egypt, Mori has always been at the forefront when it comes to culinary innovation – and the ever-growing chain has pulled another rabbit out of its deep Japanese hat with a new dining experience tailored for kids – an experience set to be celebrated this weekend with a very special event.

To celebrate the new venture, the Waterway branch of Mori Sushi hosted a huge event that gathered some of Cairo’s super moms with family and friends, on Saturday the 11th of November, for an action-packed day, where children get the VIP treatment.

The festivities included live music, and a performance by illusionist, Mostafa Berjaoui, as well as a host of other activities, including face and caricature painting, Origami making and, most excitingly, a mini sushi-making class.

But that’s not all, because on the 12th of November, Mori Sushi launched the Morino Game, which will run until the 28th of the same month. Not just a fun way to introduce Sushi to children, the game gets you a free sushi roll from the Morino Menu and limited edition chopsticks at any Mori Sushi branch.
