The Kiosk

Another hidden gem in Heliopolis that offers some of the best burgers in Cairo; from the 200gm juicy patty and the flavoursome toppings, to the freshly-baked buns, The Kiosk has easily conquered our hearts and stomachs.

Lucille’s

Since its crowning as the ‘Best Hamburger in the World’ by Time magazine, Lucille’s has set the bar rather high for any burger maker in Cairo. Not only is the patty thick and gigantic, it is also heaped with a variety of perfectly-blended toppings; no wonder burger at Lucille’s has become a ritual for any Maadi resident.

Mince

Always recharging their menu with new delicious items, Mince knows how to keep the game alive. Besides the place’s enormous variety of luscious burgers, Mince’s outstanding starters and dessert have earned it a well-deserved spot among this year’s winners.

Salt

Heliopolis’ cosy little burger joint offers old-school burgers in a classic American diner ambience that requires but a little ceremony. Despite the simple toppings, the intense flavour of Salt’s dry-aged beef patties adds another dimension to the game – and don’t forget to ask about their secret menu.

Stacked

With its huge variety of choices, fresh ingredients and efficient service, Stacked, in Zamalek, offers light-yet-delicious club sandwiches that can easily shush the loud squeaks of a hungry stomach, no matter what time of day it is.

Versal

The noble burger may be the star of American dining, but there are many other classics that are just as tempting. New Cairo’s Versal offers a variety of country-cuisine dishes that are both big on portions and taste.

Willy’s Kitchen

Apart from the places juicy, hefty burgers, Willy’s Kitchen takes good care of other overlooked comfort food items, like chicken burgers, crispy fried chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. The restaurant, which has one branch in Mohandiseen and another in Nasr City, even has a whole section on the menu devoted to Nachos.
