Downtown’s landmark hotel, The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo begins a new season with a special tribute to one of the American cuisine’s all-time favourites, Burgers. The hotel’s very own Ritz Bar celebrates gourmet burgers, by bringing to your table a selection of mouthwatering recipes from all over the States.

The celebration commences this September, and from then on, each month will be dedicated to a certain regional burger. Expect delights from various states, including California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, and more.

But this doesn’t mean Ritz Bar is only exploring beef burgers, chicken-burgers lovers, and vegetarians are also welcome on board, for The Great American Burger culinary trip covers all tastes and likings.

This month is all about the pub-style New York Burger, which of course, is set to be served with the Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo’s very own twist of quality and skill. Expect a moist patty heaped with roasted mushrooms, caramelised onions, brie, and bacon, served on a freshly-baked burger bun, under a drizzle of the aromatic New York BBQ sauce. This delicious masterpiece comes with rustic fries, and guacamole.

Among other burgers that are awaiting to be explored are the Texas burger, with its famous toasted bun, as well as the Kentucky chicken burger that comes with honey-mustard sauce and apple coleslaw on top. Fish-burger fans are also in for a treat with the Louisiana burger, which boasts a crispy Cajun-battered fillet that comes on a bed of tomato marmalade, under a cover of tartare sauce. 

And what’s better than having a sizzling-hot burger? Washing it down with any of the Ritz Bar’s signature drinks, and cocktails that guarantee a happy ending to an excitingly delicious culinary trip.
