Another week, another breakfast article! A couple of weeks ago, we told you about our office dilemma and our new idea; every other week, we make a thorough recommendation list for breakfast to save the workers of Egypt from tedious office arguments. Last time, because we’re self-biassed (like everyone is!), we did the Office Breakfast edition of Maadi. So if you happen to work in a Maadi office like us, make sure to check the article! As promised, we return this week with another district. Our assistance this week is for all the Zamalek office workers, so gather around!

Last Week of the Month

The end is near, truly! But, don’t worry, we all know how it feels. Salary is running out, yet the body still demands quality breakfast. No problem, because Fuul Cart comes to the rescue. It’s not a mere cart; rather a restaurant with branches all over Cairo. It’s celebrated for both the authentic heart-felt Egyptian taste of fuul carts, and still has the affordability of one. For option variety and similar quality, style, and prices, you can order from Awl Saa’a. Now, sharing is caring, and we certainly care! So we share with you El-Tabei El Domiaty, another fuul and falafel option that made it on our list!

The Middle Weeks

Ah, time flies! Just last week, we’d been there, enjoying the limited freedom of a salary not yet all gone! But because time flies, we’ll be here again in no time. This entry might be for you by the time you stumble upon this article; who knows!

Tabali and Zooba are consistently excellent across all their branches, and the Zamalek branches are no less; same top-notch quality fuul with saffron lemon from Tabali, and the same eccentric variety of the Zooba menu! For a Zamalek-native fuul we ta’miya restaurant with excellent quality, Qedra is your go-to!

Payday

Our favourite time of the month! A good mood is better accompanied by something sweet and different from the traditional Egyptian breakfast we get every other day. 30 North Iconia is amazing for a good cup of coffee (Brownie Northino is a must-have) with a side of their sweet tart or butter and honey pancakes! If you’re not too big on sweets, then savoury breakfast it is! Holm Cafe serves a great Protein Compo that will power you through the entire day! Finally, If you’re craving a good old egg-based breakfast, then MAAT is the place for you!
