It seems Eid Al Adha has come at a perfect time this year; with the cooler weather creeping in, heading out of the city for some crisp beach air has never sounded so appealing. However, amongst all the hustle and bustle of the city, organising a beach getaway is not on the forefront of everyone’s minds. You don’t have to miss out though; we’ve rounded up a few of the best, last-minute deals in some of the most sought after, sea-side locations.

Ain El Sokhna:

The famous Porto Sokhna, with multiple swimming pools and a mini food court, are offering half board rooms from 772LE whilst the five stars Cancun Beach Resort is selling out with rock-bottom prices from 172LE per night. Alternatively, half board rooms at the renowned Movenpick resort and theStella Di Mare hotel start at around 2400LE per night.

El Gouna:

Being an incredibly popular Egyptian getaway, hotels in El Gouna sell out long before the holiday. However, the giant Movenpick resort has rooms left for 1860LE per night, based on two sharing for bed and breakfast. All-inclusive rooms at the Panorama Bungalows start at 670LE.

Soma Bay:

A little further down the coast, but equally – if not more – peaceful, Soma Bay’s esteemed hotels are competitively priced. Hurghada:

Often unjustly overlooked, hotels in the town of Hurghada are a livelier alternative. Complete with giant children’s water slides, all-inclusive rates at the beach-fronted Three Corners Sunny Beach Resort begin at 500LE. Also boasting a water park, going all-inclusive at the Nubia Aqua Beach Resortwill cost around 580LE per night. Otherwise, a self-catering studio apartment at the Red Sea View complex starts at as little as 172LE per night.

North Coast:

If you’re heading up to the North Coast, bed and breakfast at Jaz Almaza begin at 660LE; book online and only pay for one night, pay the rest on arrival. Just a 15 minute drive from Marina complete with a private beach area, the Aida Beach Hotel costs 550LE per night for two, including breakfast. Similarly, two people sharing at Porto Marina costs 530LE with breakfast included.

Sharm El Sheikh:

A little further afield, Sharm El Sheikh is known for its colourful diving reefs and of course, partying. Bed and breakfast at the lavish Marriott resort starts at 1000LE whilst the Ritz-Carlton is offering rates of 655LE, especially for Egyptians and residents. For something a little less pricey, three star establishment Fantazia Hotel are offering bed and breakfast from 240LE a night.

Marsa Allam:

Also famous for its tranquil diving sites, Marsa Allam makes for a secluded beach getaway. The beautiful, beach resort of the Hilton Nubian Resort starts at around 500LE per night.
