Over the last few years, Sahl Hasheesh has emerged as the hottest new holiday destination in Egypt. Whether its families looking for wholesome fun, or friends looking for a whirlwind weekend getaway, the Red Sea destination has it all – none more so than in the case of the Baron Palace.

As one of four Baron Palace properties in Egypt, you could argue that it’s the best of the bunch and these impressive numbers prove as such.

15 restaurants and bars await guest at The Baron Palace, the former covering all kinds of different cuisines. Ranging from Asian-fusion restaurant, Ying & Yang, and Japanese restaurant, Mikado, to Mexican restaurant, Chillitos, and Italian restaurant, Bella Vista, as well as poolside eatery, Infinity, there are plenty of options.

The variety extends to the hotel’s bars, too. Variety is the spice of life seems to be the philosophy here, too, with English-styled haunt, The Niche Bar, being a particular favourite. Other notable outlets include Italian lounge, Buena Vista, while La Salsa Bar speaks for itself

100,000m2 makes up the total size of The Baron Palace grounds, making it one of the biggest of its kind in Sahl Hasheesh. The hotel’s courtyard entrance is a particularly striking area, using traditional Arabian Palaces design and the gorgeous mashrabiya panels, while the large Main Hall provides a stunning view of the bay.

beach

Around the bay, sits 600m of pristine sand and what’s better is the fact that it’s exclusive and private to the hotel’s guests, ensuring an easy, breezy beach time experience. The Baron Palace’s private coast also allows for quick and easy access to the nearby Abu Hasheesh Island – a local protectorate boasting gorgeous reefs and stunning marine life.

suite

Of 615 rooms, almost all look over the aforementioned beach, but the more significant feature is the fact that premises are divided to ensure that guests get exactly what they need. So, for example, a section of the rooms are kept for families, while another is for adults only.  Among the MICE facilities, meanwhile, are four meeting rooms, which are adjacent to the resorts ballrooms. There are also nine different room categories, including lavish royal suites.

pool

A total of 6 different swimming pools are at guests’ disposal, including a special kid’s pool and a special meditation pool for adults. It’s all part of a huge complex that encompasses the Baron Palace’s spa, health and fitness facilities, which cover a mammoth 2,300m2 of space. Within the spa, guests will find an endless list of different treatments and services, including a Turkish hammam, sauna, whirpool, Adam & Eve couples’ treatment suites and a comprehensive list of massages including hot-stone, Thai, Shiatsu and even Balinese.
