This is a huge area of 7450 kilometres squared, and stretching along the shore for 60 kilometres, and covers both the land and the sea.

This National Park houses the Wadi El Gemal Valley, one of the biggest valleys in the Eastern Desert, and one of the richest in living organisms.

 

One of the natural beauties at the park is the Hamata Mountain, the second highest mountain in the Eastern Desert, also holding a diverse collection of life.

Moving to the shores, you’ll see the beauty of the coral reefs, forming sunken islands, all retaining their original beauty and shape. Not to mention the abundant seagrasses which are vital for underwater life.

But that’s not all. The National Park also has a number of islands where you can find birds and sea turtles in abundance.

What we love the most about this place is the incredible variation in landscapes. This huge park has desert, green landscapes, mountains, valleys, and even the sea.
