“Travco Group” is a very big name in the fields of hospitality and travel. If you think we are exaggerating when we say “very big name,” well let’s just say that they have 35 years of experience in the field of hospitality and tourism; Travco Group currently, and proudly, owns and operates the largest number of hotels, resorts, and cruises in both the Middle East and Europe.

Capitalising on their success in the fields of hospitality and tourism, Travco Group has more recently ventured into the highly competitive real estate market. Thus, Travco Properties was born to become Travco Group’s youngest subsidiary.

Surely, when a company as large and innovative as Travco Group decides to venture in real estate, they will surely excel at delivering amazing projects. This is perhaps made most evident by looking to Travco Properties’ flagship mixed-use development in Egypt’s North Coast: Almaza Bay. Launched back in 2014, Almaza Bay is not only a true testament of Travco Group’s extensive experience in the fields of hospitality and tourism, it is also – more specifically – a reflection of Travco Properties’ capacity to create urban and beach communities that are unique and progressive in more ways than one

Given all this, when we heard that Travco Properties launched a second project on the 17th of March 2019, we just had to sit down with the company’s visionaries, to find out more about their novel project: Cavo Ein El Sokhna.

Their new project, nestled on the mountain tops, overlooking Ein El Sokhna and the Red Sea, aims to bring its residents closer to their roots, as well as the stars. Comprising of 700 luxurious, serviced residences, the design of Cavo Ein El Sokhna is said to resemble the majesty on the mountains, while reflecting the simplicity of nature. Incorporated in the project, among the lagoons and the stunning, mountainous backdrop, you can expect a sports centre, a dedicated kids play area, as well as a world-class wellness centre.

We were fortunate enough to interview Mr. Omar Abdel Ghaffar, Travco Properties’ Managing Director; and, Mr. Omar El Dewey, Travco Properties’ Executive Commercial Officer. When asked about their new project, Cavo Ein El Sokhna we were astonished to hear that the award-winning, international architect behind the project is Paris Liakos.

Both Mr Abdel Ghaffar and Mr El Dewey talked to us about their vision, their expansion plans, and how they are looking to transform how people view Ein El Sokhna with this project. With a comprehensive outlook of Egypt’s true beauty; you can choose to gaze at starry skies, or behold the wonders of the Red Sea, or better yet do both at Cavo Ein El Sokhna.
