The upcoming holy month of Ramadan, which begins on the 24th of April, will mark the first one we spend in self-quarantine. While we won’t be able to gather around the table like we always have, we can still catch out favourite actors on the TV screen. Here is a list of this year’s Ramadan series:

Valentino

The comedy series stars Adel Imam, Dala Abdelaziz, Dalia El Behery, and Rania Mahmoud Yassin. The plot follows Nour Abdelmegid, AKA Valentino, who co-owns international schools with his wife. Conflict arises between them, and that’s when all the fun begins.

El Fetewa

The drama series stars Yasser Galal, Mai Omar, Ahmed Salah Hosny, and Naglaa Badr. The plot revolves around a neighbourhood that is run by a gang called El Fetewa, that hold the responsibility of the families living in that community.

El Nehaya

The sci-fi series stars Youssef El Sherif, Amr Abdelgelil, Nahed El Sebai, and Mohamed Lotfy. The series is set in 2120, when an engineer faces off against a futuristic technology and a robotic clone of himself.

El Brens

The drama series stars Mohamed Ramadan, Ahmed Zaher, Rogina, and Nour. The plotline follows the family of Radwan El Brens, who finds himself taking care of his family following the death of his father.

Regalet El Beet

The comedy series stars Ahmed Fahmy, Akram Hosny, Bayoumy Fouad, Lotfy Labib, and Dina Mohsen. It follows Timon and Bumba’s move to their grandmother’s home, where they stand against the owner of the house who wants to take it away from them to build a new residential building.

El Ekhteyar

The autobiographical series stars Amir Karara, Ahmed El Awadi, Dina Fouad, and Mohamed Imam. The plot charts the real life of Commander Ahmed Saber El Mansy, who becomes a martyr in an ambush that took place in Rafah, Sinai, in 2017 during a response to a terroristic attack.

Le’bat El Nasyan

The drama series stars Dina El Sherbiny, Ahmed Dawood, Injy El Mokaddem, and Ali Kassem. The plot follows a middle-class woman, whose life changes entirely after she loses her memory and finds herself torn between her new life and trying to remember the past.

Bemeet Wesh

The comedy series stars Nelly Karim, Asser Yassen, Ola Roshdy, and Mahmoud El Sharkawy. The story is about a group of con artists who run into hilarious situations.

Shahed ‘Ayan

The drama series stars Hassan El Raddad, Basma, Hanna Shiha, and Mohamed Lotfy. The plot follows a policeman and his relationship with his wife and her sisters.

Layaleena 80

The drama series stars Ghada Adel, Eyad Nassar, Khaled El Sawy, and Sabrine. The plotline is set between the 50s and 80s, when a conflict arises between two families and circumstances escalate.

Sultanet El Muez

The drama series stars Ghada Abdelrazek, Mahmoud Abdelghany, Dina, and Karim El Abnoudy. It’s a story about a lady who owns a food chain that she had inherited from her father, but she falls in love, and her life turns upside down.

Lama Konna Soghayareen

The thriller series stars Khaled El Nabawy, Mahmoud Hemeda, Riham Haggag, and Karim Kassem. The plotline follows a group of friends who face a series of catastrophes due to a crime they committed.

W Neheb Tany Leeh

The romance series stars Yasmeen Abdelaziz, Karim Fahmy, Sherif Mouneer, and Tara Emad. The plot follows incidents of family trouble within a comic frame.

Kheyanet Ahd

The drama series stars Yousra, Hala Shiha, Mohamed Riyad, and Jomana Mourad. It’s about a dramatic turn of events concerning betrayal.

Game’ Salem

The drama series stars Zeina, Dalal Abdelaziz, Mohamed Alaa, and Malak Koura. The plotline discusses the subject of adoption, and issues that take place within Egyptian families.

Sukkar Zeyada

Starring Nabila Ebeid, Nadia El Gendy, and Sameeha Ayoub, this comedy follows three ladies, who, with a twist of fate, find themselves obliged to tolerate one another under one roof.
