1st Egypt International Oud Forum at the Cairo Opera House
In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation led by Naseer Shamma, the 1st International Oud Forum is being held this week at the Cairo Opera House. The show includes concerts, workshops and seminars highlighting the history, complexity and importance of the Oud and aims to highlight the contemporary importance of the instrument and its symbol of Arabic cultural identity.
