‘After Lucia’ Screening at Dina’s Hostel
To mark the opening of 2013’s Cannes Film Festival, Dina’s Hostel is screening the winner from last years ‘Un Certain Regard’ category. Mexican film, ‘After Lucia’, follows Alejandra, along with her father, as she tries to settle into a new town after the death of her mother. However, following the spread of an internet video in which she features, Alejandra becomes the victim of brutal bullying and becomes torturously lonely. Spanish with English subtitles. Attendance is free.
