‘Antigone’ Screening at Osiris
Downtown’s Osiris hosts the screening of George Tzavellas’ ‘Antigone’. The 1974 movie is based on Sophocles’ famous play of the same name, which tells of Antigone’s defiance of her uncle’s decree that her traitorous brother should go unburied and therefore find no rest in the afterlife; however, her actions have tragic consequences.
