Book Club: ‘No Exit’ at Bikya Nasr City
This week’s book club will be discussing Jean Paul Sartre’s ‘No Exit’ (Huis Clos). The 1944 existentialist French play is about three damned souls trapped together in the same room for eternity and has produced the famous quote ‘l’enfer, c’est les autres’ – meaning ‘hell is other people’.
