D-CAF Festival 2017: ‘Monsieur Lazhar’ Screening at Zawya
As part of D-CAF Festival, Zawya in Downtown, hosts the screening of the Canadian comedy drama, ‘Monsieur Lazhar’. Directed by Philippe Falardeau, the movie tells of an Algerian immigrant, who is hired to replace a popular teacher who committed suicide in her classroom. While helping his students deal with their grief, his own recent loss is revealed. Tickets are 35LE.
The Screening will be followed by Q&A with the screenwriter of the movie, Evelyne de la Chenelière
