‘Burn it up Djassa’ (2012) comes to Cairo’s fresh out of an international tour which has seen it widely praised. Directed by Ivorian filmmaker, Lonesome Solo, this fictional account narrates the harsh realities of life faced by a young man working in the dangerous back alleys of the Ivory Coast capital.
