D-CAF Festival: ‘Hope Travels’ Screening at Goethe Institute
‘Hope Travels’ – Espoir Voyage – (2011) is about the Burkinabe director Michael Zongo’s journey through the Ivory Coast to follow the path his lost brother took when he left home to become a man.The documentary gives a moving insight into both Zongo’s emotional, and African journey. The film will be followed by a Q&A session from Phillipe Lacote, who has curated the festival’s West African film series. French and Mossi with English and Arabic subtitles.
