‘Debating Political Satire: Fans & Foes’ with Bassem Youssef at AUC New Cairo
With Bassem Yousseff leading the way for political satire in Egypt, many have ostracised his CBC show, ‘El Bernameg’. On the occassion of its first ‘Meet the Media’ events, AUC will host a debate, pitting Yousseff against Nageh Ibrahim – one of the founders of Al Gamaa Al Islamiya.
