Egyptian Photographic Heritage Lecture at Contemporary Image Collective
Claire Davies’ talk will focus on the
identification of photographic materials and techniques and subsequent
conservation issues by focusing on her personal research efforts in private
collections. Ibrahim Abdel-Fattah will present his experience with photo
conservation education in Egypt and his work within public institutions. This
discussion will be of interest to collectors, conservators and researchers who
focus on Egypt and the region and often access its photographic heritage. The
talk will be held in Arabic and English. Translation from English into Arabic
