Film Screenings at Beirut
As part of the ‘What Does a Drawing Want’ exhibition, Beirut are hosting a double screening this evening. Deimantas Narkevičiu’s film ‘The Role of a Lifetime’ (2003) and Hito Steyerl’s ‘Journal No. 1 – An Artist’s Impression’ (2007) both explore the boundaries and responsibilities of a director and how the images project different realities and they also look at the act of remembering and forgetting.
