As
part of the ‘How We See’ series, newly-opened art-space, Beirut, brings
to you an evening of film. ”As You See’ (1986) is a thought provoking
feature film that takes a look into the history of technology,
especially in relation to the army. It will be followed by Ute Holl’s
lecture on war images in film, relating them to recent regional events.
The second film, ‘War at a Distance’ (2003), explores how images of the
Gulf War in 1991 have changed certain perceptions. Attendance is free.
