Festival des Jeunes Créateurs (9th Festival of Young Artists) is being held by
the French Centre for
Culture and Cooperation in Cairo, who for years have supported
young Egyptian theatre. Apart from showcasing the participants’ work, festival
organisers will award a winner with an invitation next month’s Avignon Festival in France. Tonight’s performance is ‘Le Bourreau Et Le Condamne A Mort’ directed by Osama Magdy.
