‘Man & Woman in the Eyes of Cinema Screening at Gezirah Art Center
As part of Gezirah Art Center’s ‘Man & Woman in the Eyes of Cinema’ series, tonight’s screening begins with ‘Dark Room, Illuminated Life’ (2005); a documentary that follows the life of photographer Mohamed Sabry. This will be followed by Jennifer Peterson’s ‘Her Beautiful Voice’; a short film that follows a a woman and her housework – but not all is what it seems. The screenings will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. Attendance is free.
