‘Marianne’ at Rawabet Theater
Directed by Sherif Hamdy, ‘Marianne’ is an
adaptation of Austrian novelist and playwright Peter Handke’s ‘The Left Handed
Woman’ (1976) that tells of a woman whose feeling of freedom after leaving her
husband quickly turns into feelings of isolation. The performance at Rawabet
Theater in Downtown Cairo is free to attend.
