‘Middak Alley’ Screening at Netherlands-Flemish Institute
The Netherlands-Flemish Institute invites you to the screening of a film adaptation of Naguib Mafouz’s classic novel, ‘Middak Alley’. Hassan al-Imam’s 1963 version of the Nobel Prize winning author’s work details the lives of some unfortunate inhabitants of our dear city in the 1940s. Attendance is free.
Starring Shadya, Samya Gamal, Yousef Shaaban, Hassan Youssef. The film will be shown in Arabic with English subtitles.
