Launched in 2008, the Cairo Human Rights Film Festival is one of the first ever human
rights film series in the Middle East. This year’s festival will begin with trailers from the participating films, and presentations by founder Dalia Ziada in Word Hall 1, as well as screenings of the winners of the ‘Eye to Heart’ short film contest in addition to the documentary Bringing Down a Dictator. Attendance is free.
