Egyptian film, ‘My Wife and the Dog’ (1971), directed by Said Marzouq, tells the story of a newlywed couple; a lighthouse attendant and his wife. Being a lighthouse attendant requires spending a lot of time away from home and suspicions of infidelity begin to arise. This film is being shown as part of ‘The Edge of Image’ programme.
