The Garbage Experience: Works and Projects Conference at Townhose Gallery
Right after the 25 January Revolution, there was an unprecedented interest in cleaning the streets. Garbage production and how to manage it are a major concern for the Egyptian population. Nonetheless, the problem of what to do with all the waste continues to be a pressing issue. In this context, the Spanish collective Basurama in collaboration with Elnamla Cultural Resources and the Townhouse Gallery, and the generous support of the Spanish Embassy in Egypt, have organized The Garbage Experience: Works and Projects, a conference that will take place in the Townhouse Gallery.
