The Self Portrait Video Project at Rawabet Theatre
Dutch film maker Corinne van Egeraat got together a group of artists for The Self-Portrait Video Project in collaboration with The Townhouse Gallery. Starting out with a workshop over the past two months, the participants discussed different forms of personal storytelling, considering both innovative, technology-driven trends in communication, and the timeless notion of the artist’s self-portrait. Tweleve artists have made short self portrait videos. On the 21st of May their short films will be screened at Rawabet Theatre, at 8 pm. There will be a Q&A with the artists after the screening.
