‘The Visit’ at Rawabet Theater
Performed by Theatrical group, NAAS, ‘The Visit’ (Al Zeyaara) is based on ‘The Over Night Visitor’ by contemporary Greek playwright, Loula Anagnostakis. As the first of a series of three one-act plays, Anagnostakis tells of a society where two generations’ differing fears lead to conflict. NAAS have adapted the play to reflect the fallout of the January 25th revolution and Egypt’s fragmented social and political life.
