This week’s lecture welcomes Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the AUC, May Hawas, in Literary Bastards: Down-and-Out in Paris, London and Egypt, in which she will be speaking about three remarkable voices that rose to fame in the 60s, Waguih Ghali, Georges Moustaki, and Albert Cossery.
