
‘Translating the Arab World: An Anthology’ Talk at AUC Downtown
AUC’s Center for Translation Studies recently published an anthology by a number of its professors, titled ‘How Do We Read the Arab World Today: Alternative Views in the Social Sciences’. Editors, Malak Rouchdy, Reem Saad, Hanan Sabea and Sherif Younis, will discuss how they created this anthology of the social sciences, as well as the challenges they faced in translating the works into English. The event will take place in the Oriental Hall.
