Uruguayan Culture Week: ‘Jamás leí a Onetti’ Screening at Cervantes Institute
As part of the Cervantes Institute’s Uruguayan Culture Week, ‘Jamás leí a Onetti’ (I’ve Never Read Onetti) will be screened. The 2010 documentary is a tribute to Uruguyana writer Juan Carlos Onetti; one of South America’s most distinguished writers, who was famously institutionalised by the Uruguayan military dictatorship in 1974. Attendance is free.
