‘Venuto al mondo’ Screening Italian Cultural Institute
Starring Penelope Cruz and Emile Hirsch, 2012 drama, ‘Venuto al mondo’ (Twice Born), tells the story of a woman who returns to her former home of Sarajevo to make amends with her estranged son. However, during her trip she ends up confronting her difficult past in the city where she met her son’s father, fell in love, and later abandoned him amid the war which later killed him. Italian/Spanish with English subtitles. Attendance is free.
