Wednesday Wagbas at Townhouse Gallery
Townhouse is selecting two
artists out of an open call to receive grants of 1,000 LE each for their film
and video projects. On February 1st, the selected grantees will present their
winning proposals in Townhouse’s First Floor Space and get feedback and support
from you, the audience. In addition to the artist presentations, audience
members can enjoy delicious, spicy Indian cuisine served up by a special guest
chef for a donation of 20 LE. These donations go directly back into the
granting program, to support more artists’ projects throughout the year. The
more people that attend the meal, the bigger the Wednesday Wagba grant will
grow from month to month!
