Adjacent to Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence and renowned for its spectacular location on the Nile, the First Nile Boat boasts a vista where the glistening Nile meets the city’s sparkling skyline, offering a picturesque backdrop to Xodó, Nairu and Zoé’s contemporary dining experience.
Taking it up another notch, the First Nile Boat presents the latest addition to its culinary outlets, the Italian restaurant, Riva; an open-air pizzeria crowning the boat’s deck with a modern setting that complements the magnificent view. Wondering where the name comes from? Inspired by its location, Riva is Italian for Riverside.
When it comes to pizza, Riva offers an array of options that have something for everyone. From all-time favourites like Frutti di Mare, Marinara, and Margherita, to the sophisticated Al Formaggi, which gathers Italy’s finest cheeses; fior de latte (gourmet mozzarella cheese made from cow’s milk), smoked scamorza, pecorino, and Grana Padano. While L’Orto is a go-to for vegetarians, whilst meat lovers will take a delight in Riva’s iconic Salsiccia, which means sausage in Italian.
Brimming with a variety of authentic sweet and savoury delicacies, Riva’s menu offers the Italian celebrated culinary wholesomeness in all forms. Start your feast by choosing from a variety of classic antipasti, like the simple yet flavourful Bruschetta al Pomodoro, where tender tomatoes and aromatic basil meet the crunch from the bread; or the Vitello Tonnato, a slow-cooked veal fillet with capers, parmesan cheese shreds, and a drizzle of tuna sauce.
Appetising, isn’t it? Riva is open daily from 12 to 11 pm, and you can book your table by calling on +2 02 3567 1885.
