We’ve recently told you all about how Egypt is on its way to becoming a regional hub for startups, and consequently a leader in the MENA region’s business scene. As evidence of this, we chose to cite several examples of local initiatives and enterprises that have sought to sponsor Egypt’s business ecosystem. Among these initiatives is Mindsalike: a regional platform which aims to bring together all the who’s who of the business scene, and have them network over casual drinks. Currently, Mindsalike has over 1000 members across three huge cities: Cairo, Alexandria, and Dubai.

Given all this, it is safe to say that Mindsalike truly understands the fact that there is a long road between the people we know and the people we want to know. Networking platforms, however, can speed up the process by giving like-minded folks the chance to bounce issues off each other and pitch their ideas. Today, we are pleased to announce that the Egyptian networking initiative, Mindsalike, will be hosting an exclusive guest-list only event in Dubai for the very first time on March 20th at Coco Lounge in Media One Hotel (Dubai Media City). The event’s guest-list is what makes it the hottest ticket in the region, as it will house the most prominent CEOs, investors, entrepreneurs, business owners, and VPs! All these hot shots will share ideas and build powerful relationships in a casual and fun setting.
