The new generations are our hope for the future, and we are very proud of all the students at Windrose Academy for their latest endeavours to make their planet a better place.

Throughout the month of November, students from KG to Year 12 are learning the theory and practice of how to live their lives in the most environmentally-friendly way possible. They are adopting everyday practices and behaviours that help protect the environment and preserve its natural resources. Whether that’s decreasing their energy consumption, planting trees around their school, conserving water or recycling plastic, paper and metals, the students will learn it all.

Not only that, but they will also be spreading awareness about these practices and their importance to everyone in their community. Middle School and Secondary School students will leverage social media platforms to spread the word in their community through awareness-visuals and slogans.

Students at Windrose Academy will learn about these critical subjects through informative, hands-on sessions and lectures presented by teachers and local environmental experts. These activities will blend with the regular British International Curriculum that students go through during their school day.

The Windrose community’s goal is to embed environmentally-responsible behaviour and daily practices in the minds of Egyptian youth. By developing awareness about Individual Social Responsibility, students will become the driving force towards a better future for their country and their planet.
