Under the theme of ‘Stay At Home’, Zamalek’s cultural centre, El Sawy Culturewheel is encouraging young filmmakers to pursue their dream with its first mobile film competition. Documentary and novel-based films are accepted, and movies must be in MP4 or MOV format. Directors can submit up to four films, which should be from 2-5 minutes long.

The catch? The film must be shot indoors without going into the street. Any content that is racist, offensive, or does not comply with the moral guidelines will be disqualified. Applications have been open since the 20th of April and will remain so until the 4th of May. Find out more about the required paperwork here.

Apply by filling out the English form here, or the Arabic form here.
