Cairenes of all generations, get ready to turn your cell phones off and prepare yourselves to witness the return of the live performance of William Shakespeare’s famous King Lear!

The play stars the incomparable and seasoned actor Yehia El Fakharany. The production also stars other famed and superb artists, including Farouk El Fishawy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Mohamed Farrag, Nedal El Shafei, Reham Abd El Fhaffour, and Heba Magdy.

Given all this star power, you should probably prepare yourself for a play brimming with a lot of dramatic and tragic twists and, of course, exceptional acting. The performance is set to go live at 9 pm on the 10th of April and will run until the 20th, and will take place at The Marquee Theatre, which is located in Cairo Festival City Mall.

Once you’re seated, you’ll surely fall in love with every little element; from the organisation and punctuality, to the themed ambience and décor of the theatre, you will find yourself experiencing a blast from the past! We say all of this because Cairo Show – the theatrical production team who were recently behind Mohamed Henedy’s Play 3 X Ayam Fy El Sahel – have become known for their ability to pull off high-quality theatrical shows.

Ticket prices range from 250 LE to 1,500 LE depending on the category of the seats, going from Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum up to VIP tickets.

The lights are now being dimmed, and the tickets are almost sold out, so hurry up and buy your ticket through TicketsMarche. You can also follow all the updates through The Marquee’s official Facebook page here.

You wouldn’t want to miss this masterpiece for the world, save your seat now!
