When a photographer and a makeup artist meet, you always know something spicy is coming up. Nehal Ismail is a famous international photographer, who likes to travel the world. She mainly specialises in wedding photography. Her photos tell us a lot about her personality; indeed, you can tell that Ismail loves showcasing elements from varying cultures.

Ismail has recently started a charitable project with a close friend, who happens to be a professional makeup artist: Youssra Esmail. The project mainly targets female burn victims; as such, Ismail is collaborating with Ahl Masr. For those of you who don’t know, Ahl Masr is a non-profit foundation which primarily aims to help burn victims, and spread awareness of ways to prevent fire-related accidents.

The purpose of this project is to allow female burn victims to view themselves as beautiful. Indeed, with the right photographer, makeup artist, and styling, Ismail hopes to deliver astounding shots of these women. In other words, this project aims to get women – who maybe uncomfortable with their appearance due to being burn victims-  feel super confident!

The shoot’s date has yet to be announced; Nehal Ismail is still gathering as many volunteers as possible. It is important to note here that several local fashion designers have already volunteered some of their pieces for the upcoming shoot. All in all, we can’t wait to see the images that come out of a shoot which aims at showing the world the beauty of vulnerability, rawness, and sincerity!
