In a world where media plays a massive role in shaping the minds of future generations, it’s crucial to keep track of their personal growth. This will not only be attained by empowering them to discuss their issues and future, but also by inspiring them with real-life success stories.

But this time around, help comes from within with Power of You, the independent event that comes from students to students. A group of high school students took the step towards building a bridge between their peers and some of the distinguished decision makers in various fields, including entrepreneurship, culture, education, technology, and more.

Taking place at Cairo American College on the 14th of March, Power of You is set to see six high-calibre speakers take to the stage; Yasmin Helal, founder of Educate-Me; Wael Fakharany, Communications Engineer and former Regional Lead at Google X; Gina Grant, CEO of Golds Studio, a local training community; Abu, the Egyptian musician and artist. The speakers also include fashion blogger Nour Aboulela; Omar Madkour, Founder of Cairo Fashion Festival; Hassan Allam, CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, a pioneering company in modern construction. The event is sponsored by Reconstructed, ZAGH Jewelry, Groundwork, and Tamara.

Their speeches will be followed by a panel, in which the audience of parents, students of CAC and other international schools around Egypt will be given a chance to ask questions. The number of attendees is expected to reach 200, and the event is set to last for two to three hours of fruitful discussion.
