In the aftermath of the past thirteen
days’ events in Cairo,
several venues have shut down around the city. We will update this list every
day as we receive new information. Here is a list of venues that are
currently not open for business in Cairo:

Please keep an eye out on the comments box below, as we’ll be updating with any recent, relative information.

Mohandiseen : RadioShack and Mobile Shop on Shehab
Street are closed indefinitely, I-2, Drinkie’s, Cairo Duty Free Shop and On
The Run on Gamaat El Dowal Street are closed indefinitely. Mobinil and Vodafone branches in Shehab
and Gamaat El Dowal are closed. Cairo Jazz Club on Ahmed Oraby Street
is closed for maintenance.

Giza : Four Seasons First Residence’s
restaurants and First Mall’s outlets are closed.

Agouza : Neama and Drinkie’s are closed for
maintenance.

In Sheikh Zayed: Hyper1 and all its outlets are closed for
maintenance.

On The Cairo/Alex Desert Road : Carrefour Dandy Mall and its outlets
are currently closed.

On the Corniche/Maspiro : Tamarai, Sangria/Absolute and Arcadia
Mall are closed indefinitely, and Nile Fairmont Hotel’s restaurants are
all closed.

In Downtown : Shops, bars, galleries and restaurants
in the Tahrir remain mostly closed for the time being. The Egyptian Museum is
also closed.

In Maadi : Carrefour Maadi City Centre is closed,
including all its outlets.

In Garden City : Kempinski Nile Hotel’s restaurant Blue and Four Seasons Nile Hotel’s restaurant
Zaytouny are open till curfew, and the Four Seasons’ Lobby Lounge is open from 7AM to 10PM. Grand Hyatt Cairo Hotel’s restaurants
are closed.

In Nasr City : Citystars Mall and all its outlets are closed indefinitely.

Most gyms are operating within curfew hours. FDA in Zamalek operates from 8AM to 6PM but all their classes are closed. Samia Allouba’s branches are all also operation within curfew hours (8AM – 6PM) and so are their classes.

All of Gold’s Gyms branches are also operation between the hours of 8 AM and 6 PM while their classes are operational till curfew. Pro Center health club’s branches are also working within curfew hours, however all of their classes have been canceled for the time being.

We’ve also received information that access to
most, if not all tourist sites in Cairo are temporary closed, including the
Giza Pyramids.

Most cinemas are temporarily closed, with the exception of Faten Hamama Cinema and Tahrir Cinema.
