Christmas has finally arrived and there's no shortage of option to celebrate with friends and fanmily across the capital!
On Thursday, Christmas day parties are plentiful, beginning with Cairo Jazz Club's charity fundrasier, A Merry Rockin’ Xmas, featuring the high energy rockabilly tunes of the Cadillacs, while the party hounds Nacelle gear up for a night of Christmas Funk with Tito at Maadi bar, the Tap.
Heliopolis bar, the Garden, host their own Christmas Party featuring the Macedonia's DJ Nita, while Zamalek's Riverside host rock, pop, funk and blues cover band Screwdriver.
Amr* and Ühm make their groovy tech house and techno debut at Downtown Cairo's VENT, while the Four Seasons Nile Plaza's Graffiti host Christal 25; a special Christmas party featuring DJ RO-Z from the UK.
The Temple hosts a Christmas Bash featuring Greek DJ Menelaos Fytilis, while Fairmont Nile City's O Bar hosts Winter Wonderland: A Masquerade with Dr K.

On Friday, the parties continue with Maurice Louca debuting his new album at VENT, while it's the Season to be Naughty at Cairo Jazz Club with DJ Mohasseb and sibling duo, Gawdat, and Riverside hosting another edition of Riverdeep featuring Aly Awadi, NTahawy and SHawky.
Conrad Cairo Hotel’s Solana hosts a special Christmas Friday Brunch, while the Saint Augustinus Choir continue the Christmas celebrations at El Gomhouria Theater.
The Cairo Opera Company performs a rendition of the classic ballet, The Nutcracker at Cairo Opera House, while Kolthoumiat take to the stage at the Arab Music Institute.
On Saturday, VENT hosts the last audio/video party of the year with SUPsidy, while CJC plays host to Palestinian lyrical genius, El Far3i, and an apparently reinvented Basheer.
Cairo Opera House hosts a Christmas Concert of festive songs courtesy of soloist Neveen Allouba.
In terms of art in Cairo, cultural hub, Darb1718, launched three concurrent photography exhibitions this week in celebration of its sixth anniversary; We Are All Celebrities, Underneath the Surface, and Sight.
Khaled Sorour’s exhibition Kids Fun, meanwhile, is on show at the Zamalek Art Gallery, while Gallery Misr hosts Essam Marouf’s exhibition The Sequence of Face.
